Yes I still believe if we build or create a quality product people will select the better over the cheaper. Money people ( those with the capital willing to invest ) look at time of return and profit, and they like it short and fat.( short timeline with high return )
As I listen to their advice on what they believe the best direction regarding the business of Shotts should be. I became aware that I need to change my dream of bottling and distributing, which are labour intensive, and focus more on marketing existing product with concepts delivered via technology, and avoid labour intensive areas that cause capital burn with limited or negative return.
Money people are not evil. I have discovered that they have a deep understanding of the human animal. One type of person they described seeks money to buy things and exist, they’re believed to not understand the function of money. Investing in a project that employs this person will lead to loss of investment. Money likes technology, real estate, education, bio research and anything that can be used by people. But is afraid of anything that involves the high cost of employing labour.
This is my understanding of the conversations I had. The changes that will follow is based on those conversations along with the financial commitment.
We are still pushing ahead, and at times it seems as if we are not getting any closer, but we are. While talking with member of the beverage industry you discover it is not much different from any other industry or business, most believe they don’t have to change or innovate until the change starts affecting their sales.
We have come to agreement with some companies and are working towards a plan of bottling our own product as part of a youth training and employment project.

The new birth of social, will be of using all that we know and understand to better our life and that of others. Yes you and many others have heard this before and are still hearing it, this comes at you in many forms and ideas. The different is that this is possible. The Shotts beverage corporation works with bottling companies to create a body friendly product under the Shotts brand and also adjust or offer products that will be co-branded, the selection will range from alcohol to non alcohol beverage products. The difference with the product under the Shotts name or the Shotts co-brand sticker or badge is the added body friendly and the social upside of reward points through the Shotts community leadership program.
The Shotts community leadership program is based on group or community leaders working with members through a card program which allows rewards to personally benefit members and charity or causes of their choosing. Later in the month of April/2013 more details regarding the Leadership, reward/cash card, charity or cause and product programs will be posted.
